Meet The Team

Here’s a little bit more information about our amazing team!

Bethany White (BA Hons, RAD RTS, IDTA Dip)

School Director / Dance Teacher 

Bethany started dancing at the age of 3. She has taught and choreographed for many other dance and gymnastics display teams and has attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance through Northumbria University. She studied in professional training in Edinburgh. Miss Bethany is now an RAD registered teacher, as well as holding qualifications for Acrobatic Arts, IDTA, ISTD and iD Company. She has also designed our new parent & toddler class syllabus: Moving with My Mini. She is so excited to see what’s to hold in the 23/24 academic year.

Katie Hughes (BA Hons)

Dance Teacher

Katie started dancing at the age of 2. At the age of 18 she began her professional training, where she gained her modern teaching qualification. After graduating in 2015 Katie has been extremely lucky to perform all around the world on various cruise ships contracts. Katie was also one of 6 female dancers to be chosen for World Tour 2019. She is has gained her degree in Dance and Drama through Kingston University. Miss Katie is super excited to teach on Mondays & Tuesdays in Cramond plus Friday mornings at Oriam. 

Evie Forsyth (RAD RTS, HND)

Dance Teacher

Evie began dancing at age 7 taking weekly classes in jazz, hip-hop, ballet and tap. She went on to study professionally gaining her HND in Professional Stage Dance. Throughout her training, Evie began assisting and eventually teaching in ballet, jazz and tap. Evie chose to follow a career path in teaching. She has continued to further her dance education studies and is now a registered teacher with the RAD. Miss Evie is delighted to teach each Friday at BW Dance Works!

Rebecca Scott (BA Hons, IDTA Dip)

Dance Teacher

Rebecca started dancing when she was 3 years old and carried on training in many styles. In 2018 Rebecca went on to train professionally where she achieved her HNC and HND Dance Artists qualifications and has had many amazing performance opportunities. Rebecca then completed her BA Honours Degree in Dance and Drama with Kingston University. Ever since Rebecca was little, she fell in love with dancing and has wanted to pursue a career in teaching dance. Rebecca now holds teaching qualifications with the IDTA, ID Company and Acrobatic Arts. She is really excited to be part of the BW Dance Works team and take on Sunday morning classes for this academic year!
