Here’s a little bit more information about our amazing team!

Bethany White, RAD RTS

School Director / Dance Teacher

Miss Bethany started dancing at the age of 3. She has taught and choreographed for many other dance and gymnastics display teams and has attained her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance through Northumbria University. She studied in professional training at Edinburghs, ‘Dance For All’ and ‘Performing Arts Studio Scotland.’ Miss Bethany is now an RAD registered teacher, as well as holding qualifications for Acrobatic Arts, Beth Tweddle’s Gymstars and ISTD. She is also launching BWDW’s brand new adult BalletBums classes and our parent & toddler classes: Moving with My Mini.

Lauren Marshall

Dance Teacher/Cheer Coach

Coach Lauren has been dancing since age 12. She attended ‘Edinburgh’s Dance For All’ and after graduating she followed her love for performance and moved to Germany to perform as part of a circus act. She returned home to expand her knowledge and completed her qualifications with BGU Cheerleading and has gained her Level 4 Diploma in Theatre Craft. Coach Lauren is our Head coach for our recreational cheer classes. She also helps with the BW Dance holiday camps and workshops.

Samantha Doherty

Dance Teacher

Samantha Doherty began dancing at the very young age of two and began her professional training aged 12 at The Dance School of Scotland. She then continued her training at Bird College in London, gaining her Diploma in Dance and Theatre Performance. Since graduating in 2014 Samantha has been lucky enough to perform all over the world onboard cruise ships for several different companies. Most recently she appeared in Top Hat the musical onboard Cunard Queen Elizabeth. She is very excited to be teaching at the BW Dance Works Oriam branch and can’t wait to meet you all.
